Hello.

I'm just about to tile my ensuite.
3 of the walls are old so I've taken them back to brick. 1 is new (Plasterboard)

The bricks are very uneven. The tiled I plan to use will be around 8mm thick. Brick effect 600 x 300. Floor to ceiling.

Do I Plasterboard. Plywood? Tile backer board? The remaining 3 walls.
And do I plaster or cover the Plasterboard wall.

Plasterboard is easiest and cheapest. But weakest. And in the shower area obviously worst.
Plywood probably next in cost and time and probably second best.
Third is tile backer as far as I can gather. Most expensive. Hardest to get the walls level. But is it worth doing?

The shower is going to be mosaics and no shower tray also.

Thanks for any help.
