Best way to get name out?

Hi. ive been full time tiling for about 10 months now and all my customers have been really happy with the jobs ive done but im still finding it hard to get work. Ive sent letters and e-mails out to local companies but nothing seems to be working. Any tips would be very apreciated

Emails will propably be deemed as spam, letters will go in the bin, You need to get your face seen, go and visit these people in person, you will get far better results than letters or emails, take some pictures of work you have done and maybe some letters from customers saying how pleased they were with your work, Go dressed for work, you know the score, work boots, dickies trousers, a tee shirt with your company name and a CLEAN VAN!!. Decent work wear is not expensive, I have shirts, tee shirts and Jackets that all say The Diamond Tiling Company on them, customers like to see that, start knocking, if you dont someone else will....

sound advice from diamond there you just have to keep plugging away ive had the same thing ringing local companies up havent had much luck best of going in to see them some may not entertain you but i think you would get a couple of leads out of it so worth ago

as diamond says, personal visits show that you are confident and professional, clearly state your capabilities and experience. People are far more likely to remember a face than an email imo
