best way to get the concrete off the back of majolica tiles

I am a new member here. I have found these tiles to use in the bathroom of a house i am building. Although quite dirty they are cleaning up nicely. The problem is the concrete caked on the back. Is there any recommended method for removing it? Any advice would be much appreciated. By the way, is this a majolica tile? James Stevenson

i use a grinder, how easy it will be depends on the mix of cement/concrete
