Discuss Best way to use Tile Trim?? in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

I've done about 10 tiling jobs,
sometimes I get the Tile Trim spot on, other times it just bothers me.
My biggest issue is that I am a major perfectionist bordering on OCD!!

So, where I am using tile trim on a corner,
do I lay a bed of adhesive first, then sit the trim on, then measure up, cut and whack in the tile,
or do I put tile trim down first using maybe No More Nails, then lay a bed of adhesive up to it, then put down the tile.
I seem to be able to get it all lined up right.......but it just bothers me.:mad2:
The biggest thing seems to be getting the tile trim top to be the same height as the face of the tile.

Also, do I grout the gap between the tile trim and tiles if there is one,
or use sealant to avoid cracking??
