Bidding Websites?

Hi guys , Anyone tried these bidding websites to get any work ? anyone had any good or bad experience with them? Which ones are the best ?:yes:

hi mate,ive had a look but im not too keen,original customer price can drop up to 40 percent sometimes,bidding war for guys desperate for work,not my cup of tea mate. also had a look at a site where they contact you via text with a quote to go and do,,they send 3 tilers to every quote and you have to pay for doing the quote regardless if you get the job..seems like a waste of time to be honesthope this helps

I have had calls from both Trade..something which the guy intoduced as trade...something were part of customer street, shortly followed by someone telling me that they were working on behlaf of the local fire service producing this months magazine... usual stuff, looking at our records youd be the only tiler in your area advertising...blah....blah....blah.

I put my details of FreeIndex and UK Small business Directory yesterday which seems to have been the cataylist.

bidding sites are crap, you get what you pay, for i've seen 40 sq meters of wall tiling for as little as £150 if you can do that then you must be very hard up, a cowboy (hoping to boost the price up when you get the job) or an eastern European with no out lay,

Christ , They do look a little odd... bids ranging from 150 - 1000 for a bathroom , surely the customers know what they are letting themselves in for at that price . Oh well just thought I would inquire as just starting up. nice van uug197h is that a dodge? I want one !
