Looks like one of those that has ball bearings in the runner and what not, doesn't look bad actually.

I had use of a cutter similar to that, it had bearing in the runners and it cut soooooo smooth! The bits that stuck out a bit on that one did get battered but it was sturdy enough to take it. It still goes to this day or so I believe, in a training centre used as often as can be.

Yes I think. It might not be exactly the same as the one I had but looking at it, it's got the size-bar thing and the good runners, and unlike the (smaller) rubi's, when you put your weight on the scribe bar to scribe, the runners don't bend as they are much thicker.

Well i went and did it. I bought THE BIG CLINKER!
To be honest touch wood its great. Today i've been tiling the floor in a bathroom i've been doing. The where percelain, about 5mm thick and the Clincker went trough them like butter. When i ran the blade down the first tile i help my breath a little as i was about to snap and when i heard a faint clunk i was expecting to remove the tile and see a hairling crack running away from the score line but the cut was as clean and smooth as my butt on the day i was born. After that things got better, i found the hight adjusting lever and worked out how much pressure to applie and all in all for 80 notes i'm well impressed. The only down side is that it is very similar to a Montolit where you have to physically get down to eye level to line up the blade with your pencil mark, but on the plus side's it has the Montolit breaking arm right behind the blade so the you can snap the tile anywhere along the cut, great for mosaic as you know. And you where right about the ball bearins "Sooooo Smoooooooooooooth" :)
