Hi all
What's the best way round this little problem please.
Bath enclosed on three sides, two ends fit snuggly up to the wall but the long side is stuck out by about 12mm. A trim will span the gap but a) not too many of you like trims and b) the tile would still be pushed back a good way and may look strange.
I can't get to the wall to put a permanent batten up so am a little stuck.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Jim

Thanks for your suggestions.
The plasterboard idea would work but the wall is sound and in good nick as it is, it would make the job longer and less straight forward. The recessing idea also could work but I've tried "gently" nudging it over but it is kept in place by the waste pipe which I certainly don't want to force.
Looks like it could be time for Mr Trim to pay a visit!
Cheers
Jim

Dot and Dab plaster board over it...It will only take 15 mins or so to do it...
I hate bathtrims they look crap and attract all the muck under them and then it stinks in time....

dave i agree tile trims do look crap, if there is a very tight gap between wall all around bath, can you get away not using trim , with tile over lapping onto bath and sealing it with silcone , would this work

If you cant be bothered plasterboarding...build the tiles out with adhesive....this will take much longer....and be costly...and I totally agree, trims are for DIY'ers only......Gaz

Though to be clear - Gaz means only Bath Trims - Actual Tile Trims do still need to be used by the Pro's too. As bull-noses are hard to find these days.
