Bonding!!

Went to look at a private job last night that had been stripped out for me ready for tiling this morning!!!

You guessed it, Disaster.

It's stripped back to the bonding coat & they tell me it looks ok & the "Plumber" says you can tile straight onto that!!!!

The joys of being a Tiler.

Had a plasterer tell the client it was ok too....he even skimmed one of the walls but not the other two ??

Now I'm going to have to try & go over the plaster asap.
Just need to see how it dries out over the next few days..

I've 130m2 starting middle of next week in a new build & it needs tiled in a week & the phones ringing non stop.

How long has the bonding been on Rob....

The bonding has been on a few years 5/10 not sure, probably more,
The bathroom was already tiled & stripped out for me to retile & they took the plaster off with the old tiles back to the bonding coat.
They are a friend of my aunts so I gave them a really good price & squeezed them in this week.
God knows when I'm going to get it done now.
