H i have been asked to tile a bathroom with white brick tiles with beveled edges my problem is round the window frame if i use the half tiles to create a nice edge round the window when i drop down below the window the chances of them working out are pretty remote IE meeting up keeping the same staggered pattern any suggestions obviously one is to forget the half tile sett out as normal and use a plastic trim , any ideas would be appreciated

Regards Dave

It is normal to try and carry the brick effect round the walls as far as possible and deal with the window as best as you can. Using tile trim with bevelled tiles can look untidy because of the bevel. I feel it is best to try and cut bevelled tiles for edge trim on the 1/4 and 3/4 as you then have (more) full thickness in the trim. Maybe this is a good case for mitring the tiles on your wet saw, assuming the window reveal is square of course.

You can of course set out the room using the window as the focal point and see how it works out in the corners.
