I would like to do a comparison with this and the dewalt on the testing thread

Not sure how it would compare in a short term test but someone on here said they had one and returned it within a month as it was falling apart...... Or something like that. They got their money back no problem so it was obviously recognised that there was a real problem with it

the video would highlight build quality ,weight of the machine, ease of changing the blades accuracy of mitres ,how square cuts are and how quickly it cuts through different materials , how much over spray of water each machine gives off etc,if the saw falls apart after a few months this would be covered by manufacturers warranty

Would definitely be interesting to see. A new wet cutter is probably the next thing on my list, it would have to be something special to steer me away from getting the Dewalt

Hi Tilers, has anyone bought the BRUTUS WET SAW from topps tiles, at a cost of £ 400 i`m wondering if i should or not to bother buying it?

Hi, it was me who did one of the reviews on here, I bought mine and I was really happy with it to start with. Then it just started falling apart basically. They tried to copy the dewalt I would say and they failed in every way. The only way it is like the dewalt is its looks. I was lucky in the fact that the guys at my local Topps are really good and gave me a full refund, no questions asked. I then phoned Dave at trade tiler and got the real thing. I have hammered the proverbial out of it and it eats up everything I throw at it. The only thing I would say about it is get a new blade. I got the dna on the recommendation of the guys on here and I love it. Just don't throw your hard earned money on the brutus you will regret it.
