Bull nose finish to marble

Hi Guys, I have a contract coming up to replace an existing Marble tiled staircase with new stone. At present the treads are full of chips on the leading edges. Customer doesn't want to see aluminium/steel or rubber edge finishes. So I was considering buying a bull nose machine to put a nice finish on them. You guys have any thoughts on doing it this way?

I've bevelled stone before but never tried bull nosing!

Then polish the edge with some of these:-

All you need is a variable speed polisher/grinder which has an M14 thread and a speed of around 2000rpm.

I have just bought a bullnose from Alan and what a great piece of kit it is. Simple to use and a good finish. I have yet to use the sait pads, i am finishing of my norton stock but i will then be giving them a go also.
