Buying a DeWalt D24000 (if you have one please look)

Hi, I have a job coming up which is 900 x 600 tiles and I feel it's time for my to get a large cutter.

I know EVERYONE raves about the D24000 so this is my first choice really.

Could anyone suggest alternatives or is this deffo the cutter to go for?
If you own this cutter will I be able to cut 900 length?? Easily going to be with the largest tiles I've ever used.

You could cut 900mm but you would be better with something like a Sigma 9P which will cut any length.
I have the Dewalt and still think its the best all rounder for the money.

The dewalt table will cut 660mm and using the plunge cut this can be increased to 760mm . i have cut longer by pushing through once so far through the cut but you have to be careful of kick back etc..

You might be wise to go for a bridge saw or flat bed saw where you can cut unlimited lengths...

Maximum i've cut so far is 1000mm in length but it's not exactly built to do it. I'd love to see the front rail made removable to give a bit more scope.

Can it do it? Yes. Is it built to do it? no

Have to agree with the others, it can be used for a tile that size but, if you have a lot of cuts to do on the 900 length there are definitely better options.
