C&g 6129???

I would like to get my C&G 6129 - Level 2 plumbing, but it seems impossible to get on a college course, they are all on waiting lists for years. Has anyone managed to get one done? If so what route did u take? Some places offer the course over 10 weeks but cant take that much time out of my current job.

Any suggestions?

OLCI Plumbing Courses

Have a look at that site m8, not cheap though, you do all the theory from home and go away a few days at a time (of your choice) to do the workshops and assessments. Like i said not cheap but very flexible. Ideal if you cannot take time off work and are stuck on a ten year waiting list :wink_smile:

workshops are over weekends aswell, which helps the full time employee's out.

Doesn't seem all that exspensive really, £545 aint bad if you get the c&g with it. Thanks for the reply, has anyone done this course?

that is only for the theory, you then have to complete 5 workshops and 5 assessments which will bring the grand total to around £4,500

+ B&B for the days you are there for the courses, unless there is a centre near where you live

Avoid doing it if you can get into college as college will be nowhere near this expensive, in fact it might be free, i unfortunately have had to do this course as i am desperate for the qualification and specifically wanted the C & G 6129 but like yourself, the colleges around me have a waiting list of around 3-4 years, i cannot wait that long so i enrolled with OLCI.
ConcepPHT i know has his 6129 and can probably give you more info than me.
