on 60cm x60cm porcelain floor tiles tiles on to S&C screed & 18 mm ply thanks for any replies as i don't often use such large tiles ( mosaic mainly )

What size area Dave? Much cutting? And are you supplying addy/grout/primer etc?

well i haven't worked out the area yet Bri ! two big areas pool surround /mezzanine , and rooms all floor as well as three staircases , all labour only ,no materials !

I'm on the same price as Tony £35-40 m2, the stairs will require a lot more time though, don't do them on a meterage, charge an hourly/day rate for them.

for stairs i'd charge £80 per step, depends on size

The area is 95 m2 + two staircases of twelve steps each ! just to lay tile , i will prime on daywork and maybe use detra if i can get them to spend some more

I'd really push using Ditra for this Diamond, as there will be lots of moisture around on this job, if any damp gets into the ply then there will be lots of hassle for the everyone, the Ditra will tank all the floor areas,as well as being a great membrane to tile onto wood with.

What i do for a big job like this and the customer is supplying i send them a shopping list, and one to Lilly Tile and Stone, they'll sort out the adhesives. grout etc and the Ditra cheaper than anyone i've found.
Before anyone asks, no i'm not on commision, i wish i was i've bunged loads their way!!
They are on the ball, with the right gear at the right price.

Just google it, they'll get the gear dropped where you like without charging rhe earth for delivery.
