Can ufh heating be fixed?

Tell the story quick, one of my workmates was changing a tile in my boss's kitchen due to it being chipped,as he removed it and the addy he accidentally made a very small nick into the plastic coating round one of the elements and now the electric keeps tripping when he turns it on ,anyone know if this can be fixed?

yeah it can, It is best left to a professional to do the actual fix though.

Thanks mate, The boss has chewed the lads arse off for it ,would he need a underfloor heating specialist? or just a spark?

Contact the UHF supplier , some supply repair kits or just phone a UHF repairer , quite a few about now.

I've done one , it's pretty straight forward , ( no it wasn't me who damaged it lol ).

Basically involves crimping and heat shrink covering , DISCONNECTING THE POWER FIRST OF COURSE.

Thanks for the replys lads ,kit ordered was £27 I was told ,lad who did the deed was conspicuous by his absence at the gaffers house today .
