Can you repair breaking action on rubi

Hi guy's I've had a rubi TS-50+ for one and a half years now and it just will not break any more tiles neatly now. Can you buy a replacment breaking point for it or can it be manually sharpened correctly? Surely this isn't the end of my rubi's life cycle is it???? Any suggestions would be grately appreciated

Hi Marty

You can buy a replacement breaker for the cutter. However the cutter should still be under warranty.

Your best bet would be to contact the company that you bought it from to see exactly where you stand.

Hey managed to get in touch with them who in turn got in touch with Rubi only to be told that this is not covered by their warranty because its under wear and tear. So my only option is to buy a new complete breaker system at around £70 plus P+P....groan why did I not just buy a sigma..infact I've decided to do just that I've had enough of rubi's
