Hi guys, I have been asked by a customer to tile over the parque flooring that he already has down. He has knocked through his kitchen to the dining room, and the parque flooring in the dining room is level with the kitchen floor. The floor is in very good condition and solid. I said to him that the floor may have to be taken up and the level raised with slc to regain the level but I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Could I prime the floor a lay the tiles directly on the flooring or will I have to lift the parque flooring?
Many thanks,
Mark
