Giving up soon. Will be going to swop over to my snow tyres.

Just having lunch and then carry another half crate of stone upstairs , then away to swop tyres.

More snow forecast for tonight but still snowing now.

Hope I can get out of here yet lol.

expecting to struggle to get there this time though as it's a single track hill road.

Had about an inch last night and it then froze in the morning. All gone on the main roads, but the side roads are very Icy.....

I wouldn't be that concerned about the getting there, it the getting back I always think about.

Well, that is my snow tyres on now .... 20 quid lighter but worth it..

I did ye, meant to get some extra steel wheels but always never got round to it, so just got them swopped over..

just had a look at price of winter tyres for mine.....gulp! think it'll have to be chains this close to crimbo

I had kwikfit store them and re-fit my transit ones last week. Costs me £45 a year.....

Is there a 'best place' to buy winter tyres at all? I want some this year, but not sure where to go..

best prices are online G, then get someone/garage to fit them..

Oh! you mean have them delivered to my house and take them to a garage? gosh,.. would have thought the delivery would be too dear, or am I missing something? :blush2:
