I did a kitchen splashback today and had real trouble when I placed the cheap white tiles onto the adhesive around sockets. I found that the thin edges after I had made the cut-outs broke easily. I learned fast but I found it much more difficult than when I have used thicker tiles in the past. Is this the norm? I had real reservations about screwing the sockets/switches back down on the tiles as I feared they would break so I waited until the adhesive was completely dry. All was well but I will never recommend cheap tiles to a customer again.
