personally i think its great stuff dave seems the tile shops are dropping it due to them not managing to get the tilers to buy into it, some guys are flawless at silicone work and lots are acceptable,,personally i want a flawless finish to my work so cornertape does that for me,well worth the money imo

same as mate, when you have hand's like ham's & finger's like pork sausage's :lol: it's a god send!!

im one of those that can get a neat line without the tape but where I do struggle is when the taps are too close to the wall and I cant get my finger at the right angle

it would be handy in those circumstances

ahh sussed it, use the copper as a pointing bar

My technique which works brilliantly for me is to apply the silicon ensuring contact on all areas, spraying with an atomiser and using a tool to smooth. Because of the spray the silicon doesn't stick where you don't want it....works perfectly every time....nearly.
