China over take japans economy!

this was an interesting read today!

as of the end of 2010, china has now overtaken japan as the worlds 2nd largest economy!!
economists predict, china to be the leading economy in the the next decade?

Makes you wonder, doesn't it... wasn't it Nostradamus who said that it would be China who would be taking over the world? Considering they are supposed to have more US dollars than the USA (!!!!) and could easily bankrupt the USA already if they wished to at this point... well, warfare IMO will be on the financial markets eventually... sanctions are just an early sign of it.... bit like another iceage .. we know eventually it will come, we jsut don't know when. Learning Chinese might be a good thing for the next generation....

Ay, and the Chinese are not complaining... my Dad used to complaing bitterly that the sticker 'made in Germany' is almost non-existent now, so it 'made in Britain' ,, almost everything we buy is 'made in China' especially furnishings and home items, lamps etc... is it any wonder that through globalisation tastes in interior decor and the must have items are almost the same now in every country? All subtle but powerful stuff...
