From what i can see newcastle owners still think they are a big club,but they have just been promoted and avoiding a relegation battle should be what they hope for and chris houghton has done that so far,always seemed iffy when when he has never been offered a proper managerial contract.

In all my years following NUFC I have NEVER known a manager show as much dignity, commitment and professionalism to the job as Chris has - I wish him all the very best wherever he ends up next.
