Hi there mate.

Ask around family and friends to see if they have any small tiling jobs they would like doing to give yourself a bit more practice.

I guess you have a current job with you saying you can only do weekends and you want to start up on your own.

Ask around and see if anyone wants a small job doing to get you going.

Hi m8, you sound in a similar situation to myself! I recently did some training, now I've set up self employed, lots of tools, business cards, website, leaflets... etc etc etc, but it is slow going finding work...or even work experience!

Where abouts are you from ?

Hi m8
Thank you for your reply, I am from Leighton Buzzard in beds. Nice to know you have got the conferdence to set up on your own I wish I could do the same but I have 3 kids, wife ect, have too much to lose if I give up my present job (money)

take ur time chris mate, you will know when its time to go it alone and then you will never look back, i was in same boat when i was training and decided to got it alone, was very hard work but landed on my feet with some good contacts and never looked back since.
so hang on there and just plod away, one day mate!!!!!!!!!:clock: :)
