clients mosaics.. be careful out there !!

we were asked to tile a whole wetroom in mosaics, facing wall and floor including wet tray from original style, I just looked at them, approx. 3mm and thought hmmmm I don't know if these are suitable, I checked with my local supplier and look what I found out ! they were on site and spec'd by designers that got paid fortunes to design and supply them..

Surely not, these designers that are on the big bucks are never wrong, after all that's why they get the big bucks, they know and we don't........

The Floor section is asterisk so there might be a provisio for bare feet in light domestic areas - just look what English tiles are supplying as floor tiles.

wouldn't chance it on a wetroom when they're expensive mosaics, the designers agreed to use the porc's that were spec'd for the walls

Also they would be too small for some of the foam-based wetroom trays.
