collated screws 25mm

hi people,can anyone tell me where i can get 25mm collated FLOORING screws,NOT drywall,as i want to board out a floor ready to tile onto.cheers.

You will find that the majority of 25mm collated screws will be for dry wall.... flooring screws are normally longer.. but the 25mm ones will pull into timber ok , what are you fixing down..?

Mhtiler, I read this thread an hour or so ago and have been trying to think of a constructive response to what I've read. You've been a member on here for nearly 4 years and yet you have just posted that you are fitting slate on a wooden substrate with a ply overlay, this really isn't the best way to be approaching this job IMO. As a bare minimum you need a deflection free floor with a cement sheet overboard, many of the established pros on here would also be including a decoupling membrane.

I don't know what collated screws are, but I use these for screwing through 6mm hardiebacker onto 18mm ply.
Toolstation > Screws & Fixings > Reisser Screws > Reisser Cutter Screw


They are 4mmx25mm 200 screws for £3.22 from Toolstation.

Drywall screws are fine for screwing ply down, but id screw some hardy on top as well, with drywall screws, great things are dry wall screws
