I am just starting up and would appreciate some advice from other tilers as to where I can find some comfortable, durable and affordable tilers traousers? A friend of mine has warned me of the punnishment my knees will take if I don't get some! I live in Buckinghamshire so any local supplyers are great, if not i'm happy to buy from online retailers.

Thanks

There's a sponser on this forum armadillo that do tough trousers, If go up the top of this page you will see their advert:thumbsup:

Thanks, had a look there and at BuyBrandTools. Ended up getting a pair of Panoply trousers, seem to do the job:thumbsup:

Thanks for the help

The panoply Mach2 trousers are great for wall tiling and occasional floor but if you do a few floor they wear out on the knees very quickly. The knee pads dont seem to be in the right place either.
Good for general use but not if you do lots of floors.

Another vote for Strauss, i've used them for the last twelve months - paid extra for the better knee pads (£5) and got the ones with cordura knee areas as they don't hole very easy about £30 a pair but worth it.
Lee.

Yea snickers for me, Ive just ordered the vest too. My kid loves Bob the builder so she will have a good laugh.

You must work slow shuffling a cushion along all day

I start at 8 get up at 10 for a cuppa back on the knees till 1 then up again for my snap, back on the knees for most of the afternoon 30 metres done by 6. My mate struggles to keep me going with addy.

Knee pads and shorts its the only way
