Hiya......Who would like to * WIN * a UFH installation monitor from Uheat...

The exclusive PCM2000 Heating Monitor is designed to help avoid problems with your electric underfloor heating mat or cable. Accidents do happen doing installation and in the event of the heating element being cut or damaged the PCM2000 will go in to alarm and the heating can be repaired before the installation is taken any further.

Simply connect the monitor to your underfloor heating cable or mat before you start installation, for the 1st 10 seconds the software within the monitor will measure the resistance of the heating and then for the remaining time if the resistance alters by more by than 15% the monitor will sound an audible alarm and the LED will flash RED

This a great piece of kit for any Tile fixers tool bag ...

To WIN this monitor...We want Pics of an installation of a floor using Uheat UFH and thermal boards from start to finish..

In the pics you must show the matting/cable in its packaging and then pics taken during installation of the thermal boards and laying of the ufh and if you like, pics of the finished job..

Then post the pics in this thread via the attachment feature...

The first member to post pics WINS the monitor which will then be sent direct to that winner from Uheat...

Good luck!!!!...please do not post in this thread unless posting the winning pics.

Just to add this needs to be a new installation and not one from months back

Hi Darryl,

Good job and even better getting a pic of the box in view:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Only slight crtiticism is that you should not need to use so much tape over the mats.
One thing you might like to try is using a spray adhesive to secure the mats but dont use this if using Ekoboard.
Other option is to use double sided tape under the mat and tape as you have done around the edge of mat. The reason for not doing the tape over the top of the cables (you can see from pic) is it will stop the forming of air pockets under the tape.

Like i said a small critisim and it looks great, looking forward to seeing final pics and yes you are the Winner so Well done.......your lollipop is on the way!!!!

Thanks for the feedback Aaron,

Will provide pics of the 21.5m when I do it, taking on board your comments.

I found that the mat was very curled (probably because it was so small) and, therefore, taped it down as much as I could. I did try to form the tape around the wires, but admit that I may have missed some areas . Must do better next time .
