Corner shelves

A customer of mine wants me to make him a couple of corner shelves.
I'v made plenty in marble etc but these ones are in porcelain AND............ i already have the shower tiled :yikes:
The tiles are that metal effect type surface too !
Basically i'm wondering if this is possible with a real good sticky substance?
If i go ahead it'll be quadrants at 200mm or less and 2 pieces stuck together to make one shelf then support brackets stuck to walls too x2.

i have stuck them together with akemi and hand bullnosed them joe if you flat the backs of the tiles first it minimises the joint

If you have a rotozip joe, can you not cut channels for the shelves to slip into..?

fiddly i know but possible... even use your grinder and finish the corners with rotozip.

Good ideas there men, i have an older rotocut and might work with grinder ok.
I do want to double up for thickness, these are hard porcelain too so not easy cut.

I have bull nosed polished porcelain quite often it takes a polish really well Joe I just used a grinder to rough out the shape and then a hard pad on the polisher to round off the shape and just worked through the wet and dry pads upto a 1000 grit if you have a bull nosing wheel it would be even easier

I have lent my bull nosing wheel out and it's in Belgium, lol.
I have a set of sanding discs that would sand anything off so i'll have fun.
I'll maybe tackle this job on friday as i'll be quiet then.

If your worried about the shelf falling off Joe, you could drill a couple of 8mm holes in the wall and the shelf and insert a couple of stainless dowels as well as stick them?

as Tommy says some of the America guys stick the tiles together make the shelves and do the bullnose work then cut a slot with a grinder slot into the shelf they use coins to create a biscuit dowel this is the glued into a slot in the wall its stuck on with akemi its a good way of retro fitting a shelf without cutting the whole shelf out of the wall

Brilliant idea there Andrew and Gary, I like the coin/ dowell ideas.I'm stripping a marble display today for Armatile and it's taking longer than I expected so I'll have to tile here tomorrow and shelf on Monday.
