The best i've ever had was £700 of a regular client was bit of a bonus i'd worked dam hard to make sure everything was finished on time.

The most I got paid for fixing two tiles was £400 gave this chap an quote of £800 to retile his floor,his wife phoned me one day and asked me to just replace two broken tiles and she payed
me £400 ,it turned out he had run of with another woman and she was putting the house on the market she took the cash from his account she kept the other £400.
