curved ceramics

Recently tiled a bathroom with 600 x 300 ceramics in brick pattern, with the size of tile they all had a slight curve, although they weren't cheap. The custumer was pleased with the work, but I could see where the middle of the tile didn't match up with the edges of the next coarse.
My question is, is there anything i could have done to improve the appearance or am I just too fussy?

A wider joint helps....or don't do brickbond if they are that bad...always best to check them first...

The gist of it is that some tiles are not flat when produced. A level placed over the tile will confirm it.

Not sure what comments to make here save to say that the other post has all the info and feedback so probably worth a click and a read

easy to say dont do brickbond but customer allways insists
in my experiance most tiles are curved to a degree so brickbond is allways a potential nightmare

I'm a big fan of brickbond!

Looks superb! (But I am biased because this is my own shower)

I just feel sorry for you installers !

Hi, your shower looks well, I did the shower and floor in black porcelian, they were perfectly flat and no problem to fit, the 365 drills were great too. Think for that size of tile brick bond looks better.

Yes agree I am a big fan of brickbond on large format tiles. Even the small ones as well !
