Cutter????????????????

Please be gentle im a newbie.

I have been tiling for a while now, and went from using a wet cutter to using a 100mm angle grinder, as i found ui had more control of a 'shaped' cut.

As i dont know anyone who does any tiling, i'd be interested to know whats the norm. wet table cutter or grinder?!! or neither!?!

horses for courses, i use both too they both have their advantages as does a good manual cutter

I tend use wet cutters, saves putting a dust mask on when using grinders...

I use the lot too, always handy having a choice.

ive got a dewalt grinder, and ive never bothered using as mask. i just hold my breath.... and squint

lol i have just started using masks...find it difficult with specs on also gets steamy!!

what about dry cutters? i have a Rubi Ts40 for the smaller tile, and Rubi Tsd 60plus for the larger tile. Ive havent had to cut a tile bigger than 650mm yet.... What do you guys use??

i have a rubi ts 60 plus for ceramics and a tx700 for porcelain...keep meaning to get a small cutter for splashbacls etc

A very small montolit, rubi ts40 and 60 and TX700n, sigma:drool5: which cuts upto 520mm:whistling:
