I need to cut a notch roughly 100mm x 25mm on the edge of a glazed porcelain floor tile. What would be the best way to do this without chipping the glaze.

Cut small fingers with a wet tile saw or

cut the 25mm slots with a wet tile cutter then run a diamond blade in a grinder along the 100mm length?

If I did use a 4 1/2 blade in a grinder any tips for getting it straight?

cheers
