Those trim cutters - Can they cut the 45 degrees or just straight cuts?

yes 45 degree, trade tiler sells them.

I normally use a trim cutter for plastic trims, but mitre block and hacksaw is often better, less fiddley.

Trim cutters dont cut the angles straight,you are better off using junior hacksaw and a small mitre block.Dont waste your money on the cutters like i did,20 odd quid down the drain.

Trim cutters are good for internal cuts, but external they are useless
as you need to make the cut with the trim upright, small mitre box from
b&q and a god junior hack saw and your sorted for plastic and chrome trims....

Trim cutters laid flat for external mitre and if you find it tricky to for internal just trim back edge off (length of blade) and then insert into snips sideways, this way you can cut an Internal:wink_smile:
