But they can be repaired so perhaps there's a chance somebody can do it. You'd need to perhaps check with the manufacturer. It's quite a specialist thing to get done if it is possible.

The design of the cable comes into play. Warmup can be repaired. So I assume theirs can perhaps be professionally cut.

What does Peter mean, the black bit?
Does he mean the actual element?
Warm up actually sell repair kits.
Connectors and shrink fit.
