copied from my previous post mate sorry

get yourselves know at local tile shops and hand cards in, take them buns etc, my local shop gave me no work even though i sent people in, i popped in every day for a while buying the odd trim or spacers or grout and each time took a cupla cakes in or bacon butties and had a yap, pretty soon work started flowing in from them, now they gat most of my business, get a signed van and park it at b and q and homebase etc and go shopping, i get loads of work this way, take the wife shopping on sat and leave the van at homebase and then bugger off to asda for a few hours, i wear a clean logod top as well, never fails to get someone asking you for your details, brian c posted about polos and sweats a few days ago, good prices

write to conservatory suppliers and get to know other tradesmen

a while back i rang a cupla sparks, plumbers, plasterers and joiners and asked if they would be willing to do an all in one service with me, all said yes now we run a mini consortium of 10 tradesmen all chucking work the others way lol

i find the local rags and yell.com a waste

get a website see dan from admin, post flyers through doors do the walk of a tilers life
