Need to buy a new diamond wheel for my wet cutter.

Just wondering what you use

Marcrist is the best ive heard but the most expensive. not to sure about sankyo.

What do you think

If a marcrist wheel out performs cheaper wheels and it last longer etc then its not expensive.
Simply the best i have tried.

You think marcrist are expensive at about £40 a go..then try the rubi porcelain blades..they are about £85 a go....that's why i have the marcrist..... ....in my flatbed wetcutter and a rubi CVG for cutting glass.....

Just bought a Plasplugs Diamond wheel from b&q. do you think its worth it or shall i go for the better ones. will it last ???

Only thing is ove noticed on it it says it the Glass cut. Says it "cuts sheet glass cleanly" dam think ive bought the wrong one

i bought a diamond wheel for my Briccy, Tysfoot. Mine was for glass, I was hoping it would be ok for porcelain......not a chance!

i wanted an alrounder so it wont cut thoughr ceramic or porceliein, may as well take it back

so will a glass cut diamond wheel not cut though all materials

A glass cutting wheel will cut all fully vitrified materials.....That includes porcelain..but the depends upon the blade quality...marcrist turbo blades will cut anything ( tile wise) and that includes glass.......

Got to agree there Dave. My blade that I bought for my Briccy was from The Briccy manufacturers directly. Hoped it would cut quarries but it was no better than my original diamond blade. The Marcrist for my Rubi is excellent though. In fact I do believe Marcrist say if you find anything that it won't cut, they will give you your money back.:yes:

ok cheers. just bought the big plasplugs mastertiler 180mm and the marcrist diamond wheel, cant wait to use it.

Only thing is the mastertiler seems like a big machine. Do you still use yours for small jobs like splashbacks and small bathroom or do you use a smaller wet saw
