DILEMMA - Trim or no trim?

Hi guys need a bit of urgent group input here as im sending the missus out to get some trim, or not!

Mosaics in the niches.... trims for them? or do I take each mosaic off the mesh and manually place each one along the edge (over the cut ceramic) and use grout to fill in the edge

am I making sense?

I don't like to see trim anywhere near stone Dave so, it's a big 'no trim' from me.

no from me too...........but i dont live in your house, so its very much a personal choice..

No Trim, make a cill out of the stone mosaic ingos etc maybe with trim or bullnose.

I would put tile on the ledge instead of mosaic and use trim and then use the mosaic for the back of the niche....

As stewart above, think when a niche is all mosaic it can be over kill, imo. you have to live with it though so whatever you prefer.

stone meeting cut ceramics i would use trim or as stewart advises use mosaics on the back only

Looking at your pic, you may have cut you "L" cut to short! I always make sure I overlap the internal "cove" by about 2 - 4mm to ensure nice finish, remember, you are going to need to fit adhesive in there too! Hope it turns out OK for you!
