What will I study?


This course provides you with a good introduction into the tiling industry. You will gain knowledge, understanding and skills that will set you on your way to becoming a qualified wall and floor tiler. You will learn the basic skills needed to tile a wall and floor, how to work safely and about different building methods.
You will cover a range of basic skills to give you the knowledge needed to progress in study or work. Health and safety, basic wall and floor tiling techniques and equipment use will all be covered to help support this. You will learn at our dedicated construction centre, where our workshops are fitted with the latest tools for you to get to grips with each trade. Tutors with a wealth of industry experience will help you to develop your learning and skills.

  • Tiling a floor
Entry Requirements

You'll need literacy and numeracy at entry level 3 or above and you will be initially assessed at interview.What next?

You could progress on to the Diploma in Wall and Floor Tilling Level 2. Alternatively, you could find entry level employment in the tiling trade.How do I apply?

SCCB

The time has come again for enrolment at SCCB, we have level 1,2,3 diplomas and levels 2,3 NVQs. Maybe it might be time for all you experianced fixers to finally get your CSCS card updated with a tiling qualification..;-)
We are enrolling all week from 10-00 to 19-00 here at the construction campus..
Any question please ask don't be shy.
