Ditra Heat

Hi all, has anyone used Ditra heat matting ? If so whats the cost per role. Also has anyone contacted schluter to get the latest advice using ditra decoupling mat with an electric mat. Was told by them today that under certain situations an electric mat can be fixed ON TOP of the ditra mat. I was always lead to think this was a big no no. Thanks for looking at my thread.

There is no need to install Ditra 25 over Ditra heat. Only instance i would do was if fixing stone.

Hello. I recently used the ditra heat mat. I used the panels as oppose the roll. Very good product. Easy to install and saves time not having to self smooth the wires as per normal UFH. I got the square metre panels for around the £12 mark which is not cheap by any means but the customer was happy to pay.

Ditra heat is a decoupling mat in it's own right....

Clue is in the name! No need to use ditra with it. It does it all in one and makes for a very fast install (if your floor is flat to begin with)
