DIY-is Rubi pocket 40 the one to go for?

I have a couple of tiling jobs to do and need a good value cutter. Saw the pocket 40 is £35 in topps. Would this be ok or should I go for a step up to the Big clinker at £69.

Tiles are ceramic.

Its actually for a shower room. She has not picked the tiles yet, but they will be like the rectangular ones found in the likes of wickes etc. Normal'ish size dare I say!

As you are such nice people, please see my post in the adhesive section on if bonding agent is still required after tanking!

I use the rubi pocket 40 for alot of jobs and have no issues with it. I paid less than 30 for it and if you only have a couple of jobs then this is ideal. Save yourself the pennies

Mart08 and robbbin cheers for the input about the cutter. Think I will go for it. Originally was looking at a TS30 or something, I think that may have been overkill for me!!
Now need to find me one of those Plasplug protilers that may be going cheap, anyone know where there may be stock?

essexsi, I'm guessing your essex located........ I was in B+Q Roneo Corner Romford last week and they had a pro-tiler left, think it was £55. I was looking for the master version so wasn't for me. May be worth a call to them....
I've found it impossible to get the master tiler in stock anywhere, so gone for something else.

master is top of their range. Aluminium bed rather than plastic, see range:

Think all pretty hard to get but master tiler seems impossible.

B+Q round my way have a couple left but the price is £100, paid 79 for mine last year. Just changed the blade for a marcrist, what a difference Happy hunting si

Just tried BnQ, no luck, just one called the compact plus. Will try topps etc later today. Just for info, is it quite simle to change the blade over.

Just replaced the blade with a marcrist one in my Master tiler. What a difference. No chipped tiles and cutts through porcelain like butter. Thanks forum for pointing me in the right direction.
