Diy Tiling at it's Best.

A job I started last week and the customer thought a clean up of the grout joints would suffice, there were cracks in every grout joint on the floor and he started fixing the tiles from the bath...no setting out.

I let the pictures tell the story.

Had to take the bottom row of wall tiles because of his bad setting out and found the obvious. He also wondered why the ufh was intermittent on certain areas on the floor, all laid on green chipboard.

90% of the floor tiles came up whole with next to no adhesive on the backs....

I meant the actual cuts not the bedding down, edges are a little short but at least they are even lol... as for bedding the chap obv didn't know how to bring up or down the plain with the trowel but instead decided it best to dab the tiles down level like slabs lmao. and slabs they are not!

You are joking right Ash!? That is one of the worst attempts at envelope cutting I have ever seen. More like origami than an envelope. :yikes:

the cuts themselves look ok from what I can see lmao. it just seems theres some grime all over the tile edges??? my bad I just cant see whats wrong with the cuts other than the slithers lol
