Doing a job for a contractor any advice

Hi i am doing a job this weekend for a contractor 20m2 for a disabled toilet and kitchen a splash back when i asked about payment he said to send quote in with my details for check to be sent to myself does anyone have advice or done contract work?

i do alot of contract work and its quite common for them to only pay every 30 days so check this out ...

Need to be careful because a lot of them only pay on 30 days, some even 60days.... big firms can get a bit.... well its like getting blood out of a stone sometimes when it comes to payday.

Much better do have a nice domestic job where your customer has a load of wedge to give you in a brown envelope at the end of the job! :happy:
