don't think it's too heavy but the NYC airport is shut, the Pentagon evacuated, some FB and google+ friends are posting about it - all our American members, are you all ok out there? :troll:

I have got the beer in Mosa it looks like it's possibly going to hit the south Carolinas lucky for me it's looks like it missing Florida but I am watching it's progress

I don't recall any earthquakes when I was younger and we lived in California. This one was my first, and I am really ready for it to be the last. I know a 5.9 is nothing compared to the 7+ quakes that occur, but this one was quite unsettling and really creepy.It was powerful enough that the water in the pool and the hot tub was sloshing back and forth.:yikes:

There was a 7. something earthquake in Peru today, too, and Hurricane Irene sounds like a properly peed of woman.. fancy giving hurricanes female names... quite empowering that concept! :lol: Anyhow, be safe y'all!
