Easy UFH question.

The probe that come with heating mat I'm looking at is 3m long.
Does that mean 3m along the floor, or 3m from the thermostat, down the wall then onto the floor (only have 2.2m length on floor so worried probe will be too long.

You can shorten the length of the probe cable if need be!

the probe runs along the floor between the cables for a distance off about 400-500mm its in the instructions.
you can then cut the excess off as stated above or just leave it in the wall

All as above are good.
Minimum 500mm into the room if small type rooms.
Installed in some bigger rooms, you could install the end of the sensor in the middle of the room, within the conduit.
