Edwardian Quarry Tiles Required

Hi

I've been asked to look at a job to replace some broken tiles on an edwardian hallway Floor. The customer has some spares but will not be enough.

The tiles are quarry/terracota red tiles size 6inches by 2 inches. Does anyone know of any reclaimation firms or other companies who may be able to supply.

Any help/assistance would be much appreciated.

you could try local reclamation yards to yourself,or pm tenchman,phil hobson or timeless john they are all top men with this kind of work and might have some suggestions,good luck

I would do as mentioned above.. but you will also need the thickness if possible..

The tiles are 1/2 inch thick. Been doing some research and may recommend they contact Cheshire restoration services (found from a previous thread) if I have no luck. probably best to leave it to the experts!

Hi, it is possible to find a good match and cut down, current 6" x 6" tiles. I have approx three months work in front of me, maybe Tenchman, TJ, Tommyzoom or Hillhead etc. could help. Hope you get fixed up, good luck.

Thanks Phil, good to hear you have plenty of work.

Good idea, will try to find some tiles form a reclaim firm and cut down if necessary. Will contact the others you mention if i'm unsuccessful in finding a suitable tile match .
