Electrical Underfloor Heating

Hi All,

Anyone know of any other ways to tile over Electircal Underfloor Heating except latex over it? I have seen Schluter Ditra Matting have made deeper notches to fit the wire in but it is probably more expensive?

Not something we would stock or buy, as for the last 12 years we have been the Elektra Electric UFH Stockist for UK & Ireland. Part of the worldwide group of stockist in 36 countries.

We will have to look into the options for us to buy the bases only. That would fit nicely in or overall stock profile, but that may take a while.

Got a bathroom coming up and would like to try this system.
20m2 Wooden floor (sound and solid) in upstairs bathroom - would you always advise an insulation board first (owners aren't too fussed about
running costs - they are just against extra height) which is why I'm interested in this product.

To keep the depth low maybe use 6mm insulation board. You don't have to however, if you don't the floor will take a lot longer to warm up.
