emprador marble

Hi im Ryan,

Im new on here ive been tiling for around 10 years and have had the pleasure of laying a variety of materials but i have today landed a job which consists of 125m2 of emprador marble in brown which is 20mm thick has anyone else had the pleasure of laying these floor tiles...??

it is a lovely stone.. is it dark or light emprador.. and what size.?

Hi,

It is dark emprador 600mm x 300mm 20mm thick.

If your supplier is good then it is easy to lay if you are ok with rectified stone..

Calibration should be good, so rapid set and i like chocolate grout or at least beige.. bit choice is customers after all..

I really appreciate your advice and i will check out your pics as ive never layed these the customer has purchesed the tiles from spain. They are at the moment looking for a good deal on adhesive as they want to supply all the materials.?

Also what spacing do you allow between the tiles.??

used the mosaic as a border, nice tile. Pricey too!

It is a turkish material.... so why spain..

They are being installed to a concrete screed using rapid set.
