Enamel/Ceramic Repair Kits

Hi All

There seems to be a variety of brands on the market of various prices. Can anyone recommend one from experience at all?

Not exactly a tile related question on my part as I want to repair a Belfast sink but thought someone may have used one to touch up a chipped tile perhaps.

I'd perhaps test one or two on the underside maybe?

Thing is some are £5 some are £30. I don't necessarily mind paying the latter if the results justify it but I do if they don't. Just wondered if anyone had used them before buying. Good idea to test on the underneath first!

I'm sure somebody on here has repaired a bath they chipped or something. I remember reading it a while ago. I'll see if I can find the thread later when I have a bit more time.

A few guys have used the Bath Doctor with good results...

There is a guy in Sheffield. I chipped a resin tray a few months back.
I honestly couldn't find the repair.
He did an 80 mile round trip amd charged £100. Bargain!

@MikeW I've used the Cramer enamel repair kit . Customer was pleased but it was her who chipped the bath

There's a few Bath Doctors on the web. What sort of repair products do they use?

That's one of the ones I've looked at. Was the repair very noticeable at all?

@MikeW . I faded out the white paint from the aerosol to help lose the repair, old bath/ many shades of white. I sprayed cars once for a living but if you can practise first with an old aerosol you can make a difference.
