why insurance costs are always rising?........well how does it make economic sense to send 2 roofers 150 miles from Cheshire to mid Northumberland to replace 1 ridge tile? ..........and replace badly at that!

It's an odd setup. A few years ago 2 of us were sent to Galway (five hour drive) to replace 3 broken tiles in a department store. Arrived for 9pm, back on the road for 10pm. :lol:

My Mums washing machine went straight through the floor as it had been leaking for ages and she hadn't known about it. so she put in a claim and the floor was to be repaired and re tiled as the tiles were donkies years old and couldn't be matched. They wouldn't let me do it, they sent a tiler from Manchester (about 3 hrs away from her)!! seemed completely stupid to me
