The tiles are ceramic and the border is a natural stone mosaic.

The problem i had was that the mosaic was thinner than the tiles and so i had to use the adhesive to raise the mosaics to the same level. When i bedded the mosaics in, the adhesive seeped through the gaps, i cleaned them as well as i could but any pressure i put on them would cause them to sink below the level of the tiles.:furious3:
